Thank you sooooooooo much to Dot, Kevin and the whole team at Juniper for a fabulous session this morning for my big birthday treat. A real bucket list thing going back over 40 years when I saw it on the tv in the 70's!!
Extremely well organised as you rotate groups around the vehicles and the £15 spectator charge is fair, especially as my tank nerd husband got to ride in/ on 3 things too.
Good value for a whole morning and to drive 4 different vehicles, highly, highly recommended.

Got bought the experience for my birthday. Of course the big draw is being able to drive the big chieftain tank, just my luck it breaks down but........
I had so much fun driving all the other tanks, and all the staff are just so friendly, warm and welcoming. Dot is obviously the queen of the gaff rightly so! I got to go as fast as pedal to the metal took the tanks (feels f*****g awesome) especially being in a big old hunk amazing feats human engineering. I got to drift one round corners and went through puddles (going on a rainy day is much better), and over some big hills and into ditches! Loved every single mud soaked, complimentary tea drinking, homemade cake and biscuits eating, driving tanks around an off road track, with lovely staff and a pretty alright boyfriend (who bought me the experience) MINUTE OF IT!
and they're having me back to drive the chieftain!

This is an absolute must for those who are into Military vehicles or petrol heads looking for something a little different. Driving 4 tracked vehicles including a Chieftain Tank, an Armoured personnel carrier, an Abbot (self propelled gun) and a Stormer mobile rocket launcher all of which you get to fully control - fantastic.This is supported by hospitality for those family/friends who wish to accompany you which includes rides on some of the vehicles. tea/coffee cake and biscuits, all for £10 extra each. Beware choose your clothing carefully and wear good boots or wellies its muddy :) P.S. the people are really nice too !

On Sat 26 October 2019 I had the pleasure of getting my hands on a 432 AFV. My last experience was a REME VM back in 1983 in Germany, 36 years ago and it was amazing. Lots of hard work on these trusty chariots, opened up my memory bank no ends.

Visited here with my parents for my Dad to use a Buyagift voucher for a tank driving experience that he had for his 60th birthday. We were booked in for the afternoon session with check in at 1245hrs, briefing at 1300hrs followed by the experience which lasted until about 1600hrs. The experience included being able to drive 4 different tanks. Given the torrential rain we had had, it gave for a muddy and slippy drive...Dad loved it. All staff were pleasant, informative and clearly passionate about what they do. All participants were split into groups and each group rotated round driving the different tanks. It was well run and organised. Unfortunately the Chieftan tank wasn't working but the staff could not be more apologetic. My Dad still got to drive 4 tanks, albeit 2 were the same model. However, without asking, they offered for us to come back to drive the Chieftan which I thought was a nice gesture. Prior to going I thought the £10 per spectator fee was quite steep. Having been as a spectator, there were endless refreshments (hot drinks, squash, biscuits and homemade cake) and we were able to get to have a ride on two of the tanks ourselves too. The day we went was a rainy one but there is adequate shelter to watch the tank driving. Watching has made me want a go and I'd recommend this to anyone who has interests in the military, driving, the outdoors or just wants to do something different.

Was a great day out and never been to a place so well run even for the guest's the staff were so friendly and easy to aprroch. Best day ever !!!!

NEVER HAVE I HAD SO MUCH FUN! Dot is amazing and the drivers experienced friendly and encouraging. Free tea/coffee and biscuits/cake keep your energy up - and you need it! Can't wait to go back!

The information they emailed once booked gave you all the information you need to make your day the best experience.
The rain from last night made for a fun and muddy ride and great for getting round the bends in the tanks and I throughly enjoyed this.
Every instructor was thorough and made each vehicle fun to drive.
Kids were involved throughout the morning and all staff were great.
Thankyou guys for a fantastic experience and well worth the money.

So tank driving everything you would Imagine mud and heavy metal going flat out... how could that not be fun. Driving 4 tanks flat out amazing fun.
Company is really great and cannot say enough about them. My 3 & 5 year old had an amazing time which made my time even better. From the staff applying cam paint to them to showing them tank shells and Bren guns. They even got some tank driver style headphones wired up so they could chat to each other. The family got tank rides which the 3 yo loved.
The free hot chocolates and home made cakes were amazing.
All this fun but also never felt that H&S was being compromised.
If you want to drive a tank book with these guys amazing day out.

Smashing afternoon on Saturday (12/10/19) amazing staff, kept the whole family entertained. All 7 grandchildren (ages 8 to 15 years) had a brilliant time as did their parents and grandparents. Endless supply of complimentary drinks, cake and biscuits. Even though it was very wet and muddy made it all the more enjoyable, good job we took our Wellington boots .
