We loved our guide Daniele from the start - knowledgable with a great sense of humor. Up the funicular to Brunate, then a moderately challenging hike (a little off camber and some storm washout) along the old roman paths, stopping for an amazing lunch in Piazzaga. We descended from lunch to the charming village of Torno where we picked up a boat back to Como.

This day was definitely the best one we spent in the area. We wanted to feel the nature, be out of the crowds and visit some true local places. Too many desires? Oh no, we got everything and even more: a tasty lunch (I will never forget that goat cheese!) and a passionate guide like Fabia who is never tired of answering questions. 100% recommended!!

The tour is perfect for small groups like families or friends to enjoy a wonderful day together. You will see amazing views, have excellent food for lunch, enjoy different means of transportation. Our guide Michele told us a lot of stories about the beautiful hamlets and the nature on our way... a key factor to cheer us up! Thanks Michele and thanks Daniela for the great food!!

A beautiful experience far beyond our expectations. The perfect mix of good chat, wonderful views, interesting stories and delicious local food. Is there anything else you can ask for? Yes, a nice ride on a funicular and a charming boat trip! Definitely a perfect day.

The tour was simply unique. We walked through an ancient trail to see the beautiful hamlets and villages on the lake. The lunch at the crotto was amazing, with good food and good company! You won't regret taking part in this hike.

A beautiful day on the hills over Lake Como. Nice hike, great company and delicious food at lunch. The trip on the boat at the end of the day was the icing on the cake... another great chance to watch a wonderful landscape from a different point of view!

Great experience with good guide michele. Enjoyed the roundtrip funicolare, walk roman way, excellent lunch in crotto and from torno with boat back. Experience lake como from different perspective with local insights. Great day, we were family group of 7

Mikael was simply the most wonderful, kind, patient and attentive guide. He took us on a lengthy trail walk along ancient trails and Roman built roads for a total of 5.5 hours through the woods in the hills above Lake Como. Along the way he knowledgeably pointed out points of interest and historical sights. We stopped for lunch in a charming, family run restaurant where we had a delicious home cooked meal. Before you embark on this tour, keep in mind that you need to have stamina to complete this trek. However, if you are up for it, it is well worth it.

El encargado de subir al barco un impresentable maleducado rubio aclarado impertente y poniendo en peligro a los pasajeros deberia estar en paro.
Horarios horribles infirmacion nefasta y odio a los turistas y tampoco es para tanto solo agua sucia y calor en los barcos.

The writer of this review never attended our tour nor asked for any information. We remember our guests one by one. This review was associated by mistake with our business and not with the business which actually provides the service described.
In Tripadvisor guidelines, in the first paragraph, titled “Second-Hand Experience”, it is clearly declared
“If you did not experience the business as a guest or potential guest, we will not post your review”.
A review on Tripadvisor should be an honest account of a traveler’s personal experience at or with a property that is listed on our site. As reviews are associated with a bubble rating and impact a business’s position within Tripadvisor’s popularity ranking they should include relevant, helpful tips for other travelers and members of our community and must be based on a first-hand experience.
The author of the review should be the person who experienced the property directly - either via a trip there, a booking, or by experiencing the facilities or some other service interaction.
According to this statement, it looks undeniable that this review violates Tripadvisor guidelines and should be removed.

According to the review “The person in charge of boarding the ship, an unrepentant, rude blonde, should be unemployed. Horrible hours, disastrous information, and hate for tourists and it’s just dirty water and heat on the boat”.
We are still waiting for Viator to take an action on it...

his tour is unmissable! The hike in the woods is beautiful, with unexpected views over the lake and, most of all, with the company of a friendly and knowledgeable guide. We really enjoyed the delicious lunch in a picturesque hamlet. And it was great, at the end of the day, to take the boat to come back and chill out a little watching the landscape. I don't think we would have found something better elsewhere.
