We had the best time! We did this tour with my two 9 yr olds. Jonah was the best guide, very informative,friendly and funny. Took us to the best scenic spots and gave us enough time to take it all in and of course take our pictures to keep forever! We had lunch where all the food trucks were! Didn’t even expect that the food truck that was on my “must list” (Da bald guys featured on Netflix is a must) was there! What a treat! The van was clean and doesn’t have any smell (I have to mention that because our car rental smells awful and I thought that part was important). Shout out to my tour buddies Jade and Jeremy and the rest I forgot to ask for their names my bad. I highly recommend this trip definitely worth it.

Thank you so much for your review. Glad you had a good time on the tour. Glad to have seen you and your family at the Macadamia Nut Farm. Your kids really love cracking those Macadamia Nuts. I wonder if i will see you guys there tomorrow as well. Da Bald Guy is a must when you come to Hawaii but closed on Sundays. Thank you again for writing a great review and it was such a pleasure talking with you and spending time with your family. We hope you enjoyed Kualoa Ranch and please eat up when you are out here.

Mo was our driver/guide. Did a FANTASTIC job and was extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. I’d do this again on a heartbeat!

Stephanie was a great tour guide from beginning to end! My family was entertained by many of her jokes and will retain a lot of the information that was told to us throughout the day. Our van had 7 total guests, so everyone was comfortable and had space to see all the sights being presented with no problem. Stephanie was able to show us locations other than the planned stops to really show us what Hawaii offers. We were able to go to another location to see turtles when common area waves were to rough and her experience and extensive knowledge of the land made this truly fulfilling! So I’m very happy we chose this tour and highly recommend if you enjoy smaller group tour and can interact with tour guide!

We loved this trip. It was relaxing and Alan our tour guide was very informative, being a local guy he told us so must about the island and its history. It was a fab way to see the islands diversity, not just a wonderful beach hit the mountains and scenery were stunning. We visited some fantastic beaches and saw a large turtle on the beach and lots swimming. The macadamia outlet was good and the stop of for lunch was fab, real local cuisine and quickly served. The dole plantation was lovely in beautiful setting, you must try the pineapple whip, delicious.

It was a long hot day of riding in a cramped tired van with other tourists that was traffic filled & had many stops at local shops, sites, etc. The driver was great and was the only good part of the tour but thought that we could have been more comfortable with the fee we paid. We thought to get out of the crowded noisy Waikiki area but it's busy everywhere in Oahu.

The island experience tour provides an affordable solution to see the whole island. There are so many positive aspects to share, as well as some observations;
1. ) The logistics were handled with perfection. The event was easy to book online, and the tour guide, Alan called the day prior to confirm. He picked us up on-time at our hotel in Waikiki
2.) The trip provided access to all of the key sights listed in the itinerary
3.) Alan did offer interesting facts about the area along the drive
That said, there are areas to be aware of;
- On a tour like this, there is no control over the group traveling with you. In our case, we were matched up with a family who ignored the driver, and spoke on a cell phone with other folks for most of the tour. At many points, they actually put the phone on Facetime and narrated their own experience. It was distracting. They also disregarded the time deadlines that the driver assigned for each attraction, and had to be corralled to stay on schedule
- There's a lot of quiet time (8-hour tour) where the driver has no information to provide. A Hawaii themed song playlist would have provided some good background sound, or at least washed out the sound of the other passengers' phone calls
- We took a lot of selfie photos. The tour guide did not offer to take photos, and there are attractions were that would have been a nice touch
Overall, the price paid for this event was a good value, and I would take it again (hopefully with different guests)

This tour suited us perfectly for what we wanted to see around the island and we loved that it was a small group. Our tour guide Alan was funny and knowledgeable making it a fabulous and wonderful day.

Our group of 4 absolutely loved this tour. The small tour bus arrived on time and was clean & comfortable with good air conditioning. Our tour guide Stephanie was a lovely hostess with lots of local knowledge and interesting stories and information. Stephanie took us to additional places that were not on the itinerary which was unexpected and appreciated. It was a good fun day that we all really enjoyed.

This is a great tour and my wife and I enjoyed it very much. Our guide was Jonah and he did a terrific job of providing so many details and recommendations. The itinerary was excellent with a good mix of beautiful beaches and other destinations such as Dole plantation and macadamia nut outlet. Also the garlic shrimp lunch at the funky food truck stop was delicious. Highly recommend this tour.
