Although this luau is expensive, just like many others, I thought it worth attending. The food buffet was top notch and included some local cuisine (including poi and above ground roasted kalua pork), salads, roasted prime rib, hula chicken, island catch, and tasty desserts. We were greeted with a real orchid lei and we could choose to have either an alcoholic drink or a non-alcoholic drink to start. Our server was very attentive. The Marriott is a nice, handy location, even though this luau is not on a beach. All in all, we had an enjoyable experience.

We had a fabulous time at the Marriott Luau! The food was delicious and for those with food allergies it was so nice that everything was labeled if it was gluten free and/or dairy free. I was able to eat almost everything! Our littles loved the show and were amazed at the 10 year old fire dancer. We made friends with the family next to us and exchanged information. Hawaii is an amazing place where we end up making so many lifelong friends! The staff is lovely and sincerely makes us feel like family each time we visit. We will definitely be back when we return next year!

The food was amazing—1st class. There were 11 of us with 2 toddlers. Service was exquisite & everyone was so kind & accommodating to our family. The show was captivating & held the Littles attention. Dean, our server, was the best, rated by our adult sons who have had experience in food & bar service industries. Everything moved along smoothly and the one-yr-old & three-yr-old were mesmerised by the music, dancing, & fire shows. Great family night & well worth the price. Plus 2 blocks from our condo unit.

The food and show was amazing! My only suggestion would be to inform attendees that drink tickets represent both drinks of alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages.

I really enjoyed the entertainment! I am not very adventurous with food, but I thought it was very good and I loved the desserts. Can't go wrong there!! We were greeted promptly, seated promptly and our server was top notch! I wish I wrote this review sooner. I think her name was Theresa, but can't swear to it. Lovely sweet little lady! I would totally recommend this for a wonderful evening out!

The luau comprises a show and a buffet meal. The meal was excellent, and the professionalism of the catering services was obvious. They were very clear about food allergies etc. and the food was indeed varied, authentic, plentiful and delicious. The dining area was also the seating area for the show.
The seating was side on to the show, so that you have to twist the chairs around to watch - not a big deal since we finished eating before the show started.
The dining area and stage were outside on the 3rd floor so there was a lovely airy feeling, but exposure to rain (they provided rain ponchos in case). The last luau I went to was staged with the ocean/sunset as an immediate backdrop to the stage. This gives a much better atmosphere to the show than we had here.
The show was still excellent and the performers top quality.
We paid for VIP seating at the front. Those who didn't were much further away, with a significant artificial distance between the two seating areas. Those people had a mini-stage where one of the beautiful performers copied the dancing on the main stage.
The music was first class.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show, and fet we'd had a great spectacle and a cultural experience.

Went to the Luau during our recent vacation to Hawaii. We had an amazing time. The food was great the show was outstanding. The dancing, music and singing were all outstanding.

We attended the show on 10/4 and had a great time. All the dancers and musicians were amazing! The food exceeded my expectations and a nice variety. All of the staff, especially Karen were so pleasant, always offering drinks and clearing dishes etc! I would highly recommend this show!

Wonderful luau, the entertainment was amazing, full of colour, dance and fun. Buffet had variety and plenty of food. Easy to ge to, opposite Waikiki beach. Well worth going to, enjoyed every minute.
