I have gone on two tour with Saeid in the West Bank - specifically Area C and Bethlehem. For our first tour my sister and I didn't want to be the usual gawking tourists and religious sites and nothing else, so Saeid gave us a personalized tour. This tour included:
- Organizing a taxi service to pick up and drop off, to and from, Jerusalem to meet him at the checkpoints.
- Going through Area C leading into the desert to meet with an incredible Bedouin family who was generous with sharing their summer home with us and their tea, serious coffee, and fresh lebneh and yogurt from their own goats.
- A 4x4 jeep safari-esque drive through the desert that only Hanan, our Bedouin family driver, clearly showed us that the Bedouin people are the only ones who could navigate that terrain. Leading up to the most incredible high spot overlooking the dead sea and Jordan.
- A visit to the Mercaz Karama, The Dignity Center.
- A driving tour through the settlements in Area C, including Gush Etzion.
- A big lunch in Bethlehem, followed by a walking tour by the Wall, UNWRA Aida refugee camp and the Banksy Hotel.
When I returned a few years later end of 2022 with a friend, Saeid was the first person I called. This tour included:
- By request, another 4x4 jeep ride through the desert with tea made right there at our favorite spot on the cliffs overlooking the dead sea again. (It was so worth going back twice) Standing in the back of the jeep, wind in my hair, sand as far as the eye can see. One of the best things ever.
- A nice hike that he led through the tunnels to the top of the Herodion Palace for some wonderful views and history
- Church of the nativity (my friend wished to go) but with a nice stop out at the cafe and craft shops around the area.
Of course, all of this is just a nutshell of what we did on the amazing tours that Saeed put together for us. On a personal note, I found Saeed to be kind, thoughtful, open, protective, and just a pleasure to be with. Support locals, and support bighearted people like Saeid who believes in all peoples' dignity, Jews and Muslims and everyone. I recommend him and his personalized tours greatly - even if you do just want to visit the religious sites. 😉

Saeid is an excellent tour guide. We have previously taken tours with him in 2018 as well.
He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour . My husband and I are more interested in the politics of the West Bank, Saeid tailor made a trip to include a visit to Ramallah.
We also visited sites in Bethlehem, Jericho and Hebron which are must visits

I had the amazing opportunity to travel solo to Tel Aviv and into Palestine. While wandering around Bethlehem, with no solid agenda, I met Saeid. My day took a turn for the better, as a fantastic tour of the Church of the Nativity was in my future.
As an Atheist, I was hoping to learn about the church (and the area) with as little religious bias as possible. Saeid was amazing. We whisked past large groups of tourists, and he showed (and explained) things that other tour groups just weren't getting. At one point, I had asked about these large wooden coverings on the floor, and with a few words, Saeid had a friend come over and lift the panel to show the ancient mosaic underneath.
Along with information about the Church, he shared some personal stories of growing up in Palestine. It was an eye opening, humbling, emotional experience. I really got lucky that day.
My experience in Palestine isn't the norm, and I wouldn't recommend traveling alone through that part of the world to everyone. This tour was one of the highlights of my journey, and I'm so thankful. 10/10 would hire him again.

I have been to the holy land several times with several different guides, both for business and pilgrimage, all with mixed results.
Saeid is by far the best guide in the West Bank.
He is not only knowledgeable, honorable, and hardworking, but he is friendly and kind and goes out of his way to ensure everyone in the group is comfortable and well taken care of.
His English is excellent, his humor is contagious, and his tours are thoughtful and from the heart.
Excursions can be catered to your individual needs, and hospitality is always a priority. Whether it be food, churches, ruins, or souks, Saeid, who has lived in Bethlehem his entire life, will expertly fill your heart and mind with so many poignant memories, when your time with him is done you will practically feel like a local.
Make sure you book early, you won’t want to miss!

We were excited to visit the holy land, but were nervous about the whole experience. A friend recommended Saeid as our guide, and to our delight and relief, he was the perfect choice. He is outgoing, affable, and warm, and his English is solid. We were so happy to spend time with him!
Saeid met us at the checkpoint, and took us in his car for the short drive to Manger Square, providing insightful and illuminative commentary along the way. It was so interesting to see the graffiti on the wall, and to learn more about it.
Once at the Church of the Nativity, Saeid explained the history, and helped us see and understand the key features of the structure. We especially loved the mosaics and the glass lamps hanging from the ceiling of the nave.
When it was time to visit the grotto itself, said to be the birthplace of Jesus, the queue was quite long, but because Saeid is a licensed guide, he was able to move us forward without waiting.
Visiting the grotto was such a moving experience, and Saeid provided outstanding explanations of what we were seeing. It was marvelous.
Next, Saeid took us on the short drive to Shepherd's Fields, and gave us time to explore the caves for as long as we wished. We visited the chapels, and he explained the artwork and the ways various denominations of the faithful worship in these spaces.
As our time was running out, Saeid deftly drove us back to the checkpoint so we could return to our hotel, and continued to gamely engage our questions and observations. His friendly demeanor made it so easy to talk with him, and we felt really comfortable raising questions about various aspects of our visit.
Overall, we had an outstanding experience with Saeid and strongly recommend him to others, as well. And we now have a new friend in Palestine!
