Stunning views of the arches. The walk is around 20-30min, good hiking shoes or old shoes recommended as the walk is very even due to the Lime stone and coral. Keep an eye on the weather as the rough winds can make it dangerous to cross over to further arch.

Some reviews suggest this is a challenging walk. So long as you are reasonably fit, have closed footwear, and are stable on your feet it is relatively easy. Yes there are ropes near the bottom, but they are more for balance and security than anything else. This from a 67 year old scared of heights. And it took little over an hour there and back including a good period of viewing time especially for the fish and coral life. Fantastic spot - do it!

A natureza independentemente de ser um belíssimo cartão postal,nos proporciona um visual bastante relaxante,atuando as vezes até como colírio para nossos olhos de pesquisadores.

One hour walk or less to reach this magical place where if one will go through the arch enters another dimension and time unknown or be it lost and never return. People are forewarned not to make attempt to enter in case the legend still exist. Pristine surroundings make good photography.

From the same carpark as Matapa Chasm head off to the track on your right up into the bush. You'll need good shoes as the ground is very uneven and the rocks sharp. The walk takes about twenty minutes then you get to the cave that takes you down to the Arches. The cave is worth looking at, even if you don't go down to the water. Getting down to the water? There's a rope to help you climb down, that's part of the adventure. Once down there is a lovely, clear swimming hole and you can walk across the reef to the sea arch. Looking back you will notice arches all through the cliffs, hence Talave Arches. We went at low tide and it was pretty spectacular, don't know that you'd be able to get right down at high tide. Well worth the effort to get to. Stop for a well earned drink at the Clifftop Fale at Hio Beach on the way back

It's about a 30 minute walk to the arches, over some fairly sharp rocks, but worth it, the arches and views are great.

Not a swimming location. Go at low tide if you want to walk to the arches and you need closed in shoes as the rocks are really sharp and the walk in is on uneven ground and then you hold onto a rope to get through and down the cave to the outside. It is worth the effort.

About a 30min walk through uneven terrain - wear sturdy shoes and is suitable for able-bodied people. When you get to the cave at the end, need to use handholds and the ropes to manoeuvre around inside the cave area to get out to view the arches. Worth a visit. We went on low tide, but bet it would look great any tide.

Wow. We did this walk early in the morning, even though it wasn't low tide and we couldn't walk over the rock pools to the arch but the view was still stunningly majestic. The water is so clear, you don't really need to walk over the rock pools to see in them. There is so many things to observe and the crashing sound of the sea whilst witnessing the arch in all it's glory. A site to behold.

A highly recommended place to visit and one of my favourites. As mentioned by many it’s a tough walk due to the coral floor but after around 20 minutes, you will reach the caves where you can then ascend to the floor of the arches. We went at high tide and although we couldn’t walk to the arch, the sea was magnificent and we were alone. Enjoy......
