A tous ceux qui passeront par la Dordogne, je vous conseille vivement cet endroit!!! Une belle rencontre avec Roland, le maître des lieux et avec Sophie qui nous a guidées à travers la propriété pour nous conter l'histoire de chaque cheval ou autre animal recueilli dans ce petit paradis. Come and see! Meet and enjoy :-)…

Thank you for your kind words and five star review. Sadly on 25th April, Trip Advisor decided after five years, to remove us an attraction from our local tourist town of Brantome. Overnight we lost or top three place in the Dordogne and in fact, cannot now be found anywhere without a detailed search. In effect we are invisible, already our visits through Trip Advisor, Have dropped to nil. 80% of guests through the holiday season learn of us via Trip Advisor. If we cannot raise sufficient funds during the season then our sanctuary faces a very uncertain future. We are devastated! In the final analysis if we have to close down because of Trip Advisor’s actions, we will have to return the younger healthier horses to the sanctuary in the UK. The horses that cannot travel because of age or illness will have to be destroyed. Trip Advisor’s response has been less than sympathetic. Any comments should be addressed to Ann Justice at help@tripadvisor.com Once again I can only thank you for your help and support. Roland and Alison Brantome police Horses
