Great range of stock with excellent value throughout in the pro shop all supported by really nice, friendly and professional staff, both in the shop and in the bistro restaurant, first class!

Golfers Heaven and Amazing Fitting Service

I attended Silvermere Golf for the first time yesterday (03/02/22) for a driver fitting, to replace my 4yr old Ping. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised with the overall aesthetics of the venue and then I walked into the pro shop to book in... WOW !! This is golf heaven.
To warm up and get rid of some nervous energy I hit a bucket of balls on the fabulous TopTracer range. Excellent dual height driving range with very good targets and bunkers etc...
Then Mike (my driver fitted) arrived and we headed upstairs to one of their fitting suites. The use the GC Quad tracer and from the elevated position it really helped to see the ball flight.
The expertise I experienced yesterday was second to none. We tried varying clubheads, different shafts and have ended up with what can only be described as a weapon! I had a very consistent flight and distance with the new setup and the accuracy was phenomenal - with what is so massively different from my previous 'fitted' driver.
I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely go back for anything else I need.

The staff need to be re-trained on H&S.
When a manageress is walking among customers open mouth coughing and spluttering without a mask or in any way trying to prevent passing her “cold” to the public in such ways as coughing into the crux of her elbow etc.
From the age group of the clientele customer base I saw , that’s very reckless behaviour.
God forbid she has Covid .

Silvermere Golf store

Brought a Cobra F9 5 wood under a year ago so should be still under warranty.
Sharp edges have developed around the face of the club which marks the golf balls every time the club is used.
Took the club back to Silvermere who seemed puzzled despite the fact you could feel the rough edges around the club and they were shown photos of the marks on the golf balls
They kept the club for about a week then phoned me to collect the club as they could not see a problem
I have always brought my clubs from this store but never again
Amazing the attitude when buying but when trying to get some service for sub standard good NOT INTERESTED.
This will be my reaction to the store the next time I buy clubs

A great fitting service and a wonderful golf course

I visited this golf club for a club fitting firstly I was amazed at the state of the art driving range my fitting went extremely well with no detail left to chance I'm very happy with the outcome and looking forward to using my new irons we decided to play the course as well and I can honestly say at £38 it's a real bargain the greens are great with the fairways well manicured the only down side is the course seems to attract golfers who dont repair pitch Mark's an cant be bothered to pick a rake up and take the bunkers which is a shame as the course deserves better but even with that I cant recomend the driving range the fitting service and the great golf course enough

Best money i have spent on golf......

I had a custom fitting with Mike a few weeks ago for a set of Irons. What an awesome experience. Not only did Mike fit me in to a new set of clubs but i learnt loads about the flight of the ball and my swing. I ended up ordering a set i never thought i would have wanted to buy off the shelf. The combination of head, loft and lie made a huge difference to my ball flight. Not once did i feel sold to. Even told me to save money for now higher up the bag. I will be going back there again to sort out the top of the bag soon.

I had been to another company (large chain) a few days before for a fitting. Nothing to compare. A total different experience and just felt like i was being sold a set.

Excellent customer service by Terry Sims

Had a custom fit service which was excellent. Then bought the clubs that were originally due to come in three months time. So I called Terry Sims at Silvermere and he moved heaven and earth to makes sure I could collect earlier and also kept me updated throughout the whole process. He was professional , friendly and pro-active and honestly was blown away by the service levels.

Could not recommend them enough ans d if you are just getting to golf and looking for custom
Fit and somewhere to buy clubs , Silvermere and Terry are the place & person to see

A great golfing venue

Our golf society had a great day at Silvermere on 22nd May 2021. The course was a fair test of golf and in good condition, the venue is excellent and the golf shops - left handed golfers have their own shop - are outstanding. It is a great place for golfers. The last two holes are fun - both over water with the 18th green right in front of the main seating area. Always good for a laugh. Also for me personally as an organiser of a golf society the events staff were a joy to work with. We will be back next year I am sure.

Picked up my new irons yesterday after my first ever custom fitting, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Friendly and informative service, everyone I spoke with was really helpful and the facilities/equipment are first class. Thank you

Poor desserts

The desserts were a huge disappointment following an average main. The continental cheeseboard was a disgrace. For £9.25 there were 3 tiny pieces of cheese, a few biscuits and grapes, served on a large plate which only emphasised the paltry portions. The Eton Mess had barely any meringue and was just a dish of whipped cream with a few bits of fruit thrown on top.
