Another Excellent Garden

Bendigo is a beautiful regional town with exceptional Victorian architect and gardens. The Conservatory Gardens offer a pleasant opportunity to relax in a refreshing enclave in the centre of town. Beautiful conservatory and sculpture. Well worth a look.

A pleasant place to visit

My wife and I visited this place as part of our visit to Rosalind Park. Indeed, this place is officially listed as being part of Rosalind Park.

The glass house is pleasant to sit in for a rest (there are benches). The water feature and decor inside the glass house are nice. The surrounding gardens are well maintained. There are a few statues to look at.

The Conservatory Gardens are located in Rosalind Park, in the heart of Bendigo. The Conseratory is a display of blooms, that varies from season to season. The Conservatory is quite big, and the flowers are spectacular, anyone who likes flowers will enjoy the Conservatory.

The glass house

The 19th century Conservatory was erected in 1897... there is something enduring and romantic about wandering through the Conservatory. It's like we have taken a part of history and made it special in the centre of Bendigo. The highlight is the floral and foliage displays that are on show throughout the year... it doesn't matter what time of year you go... it's beautiful.

Wandering through here early in the evening, I could hear and unfortunately smell the bats in the nearby Rosalind Park... but still, I enjoyed the beauty and stillness of the Conservatory. If you like anything historic, or gardens...or if you are a romantic at heart... then this is the place for you.

Array of beautiful blooms

Central Bendigo has many attractions, prime among them is Rosalind Park, a wonderful collection of statues and shrubbery. The Conservatory Gardens adjoin Rosalind Park, The blooms depend on the season, but the tulips are crowd favorites. The Conservatory is constructed of glass and steel, like a glasshouse. It dates from the late 19th century.

Small, but pretty

Very very pretty garden adjacent to rosalind park. The roses were still in bloom and the flowers inside the conservatory were simply lovely and stunning. It's a very well curated place, and nice to sit inside the conservatory and enjoy the flowers.

Absolutely stunning

We visited here after walking through the amazing Rosalind park. The conservatory gardens are an absolute Bendigo must with an array of tulips and other flowers throughout garden and conservatory. Also features a number of interesting sculptures

Small but beautiful

The Conservatory is in Rosalind Park near the centre of Bendigo. It is very well made; it is of glass and steel construction. This historic Conservatory is a well-known feature of the city of Bendigo. When we visited, the Conservatory was filled with an entrancing array of pink and white hydrangeas.

Historic Conservatory and Beautiful Tulips

I visited on a sunny spring day and many people were enjoying the glorious colours of the tulips. The Conservatory is located within the gardens. Since it was opened in 1898, the Conservatory and its displays continue to draw local and out of town visitors. The Conservatory is open from 8am until sunset every day.

Really Lovely

The conservatory was closed when I was here, but the gardens are beautiful. There are even some pretty cool statues here as well.
