I would say that this was the highlight of my trip to PR, in which I come to the island every year. This place was wonderful. We were riding for over an hour and a half through a beautiful mountain side. It was breathtaking. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I went with my wife and my two kids 10 and 5. It was very safe and the kids wear a helmet. Go don’t overthink it. Thank me later.

Pros: the horses are in great shape, well taken care of, and trained well. The trek through the almond trees & country side is very nice, and the beach is something from a magazine cover! I will never forget it! I also loved that his 4 dogs came along! They chased some wild dogs away along the trail as to not spook the horses. Domingo explained that they protect the horses.
Cons: this place can’t be booked through TripAdviser, but only through their website or by calling. It’s also a bit difficult to find as the address doesn’t come up in GPS. Call Domingo and he will send a Google map link that is accurate and there are also signs posted as you get closer to it. Domingo (the owner and our small group of 4 tour guide), was very knowledgeable and highly experienced, but I found him a bit impatient and unfriendly. Maybe he was having a bad day?
Summary: don’t hesitate to book this tour. The landscape & beach are awesome and the price is right! 787-501-4920

We had our best horse ride with a beautiful scenic and nature all around. What I like of this beautiful place is part of a Puerto Rico reservation. I wasn’t expecting the horses to be well trained and good breed. The staff was so kind and patient. This was our 11 year first time, Adriana took the time to teach him and watch over him while riding. Manati has a beautiful beach. I felt like I was in paradise.

We had a group of 14, and everyone had a terrific time. The entire experience was fun, beautiful, relaxed and enjoyable. The horses are all in great shape, clearly well fed and groomed and the guides were knowledgeable and relaxed, never overbearing. We had many first-time riders in our group and no one was ever scared. The scenery is beautiful. Wish the ride included more beach scenery, since the few minutes we had on the beach were the highlight of the tour. Both Domingo and Andrea, our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Made all the arrangements through Domingo who was always professional, responsive and delivered on everything that was promised.

10 out of 10. Domingo's horses are well trained and appropriate for every rider type. We did the 2 hours ride and it was wonderful. The view from the Valley and beach is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone, an amazing experience never to be forgotten.

I am a horse owner, and I can say that of the many commercial trail rides I've been on, this is the best! Horses were healthy, had muscle, and were extremely well trained. My group did a private two-hour tour with Domingo, his wife, and his daughter. They train the horses and even compete, so they were very knowledgeable about riding and helpful to the less experienced people in our group. The tour itself is incredible because it traverses so much different terrain - field, forest, beach, etc. And the horses are gaited, meaning they can do a very fast, yet smooth walk, so you cover a lot of ground. Booking is a bit tricky because they don't take online reservations and someone is not always at the phone. My group ended up calling/texting a few times, but it was worth the hassle. Highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I are competent riders. This was our second ride in as many weeks with Domingo. We ride every chance we get wherever we are. We were so impressed with the stables and how well cared for the horses are. They are well trained and eager to do their job. Domingo is a fabulous trail guide, he knows the area and the history of the land. The Beautiful Paso Fino horses are well cared for. We rode through grassland, Woodland and at the beach. I cannot wait to go riding there again.

Horses were dirty, so skinny and eyes drooping. Looked unhealthy and no cared for. We did not complete the ride as we were sickened by their conditions.

Domingo and his horses are the best! We had a blast during this tour. His horses are well trained and healthy. He taught my young kids the basics of horse riding. This was a really great experience and the scenery is amazing. Can't wait to come back and do it again.

I want to know if there is a mounting /dismounting block available and can we get transportation from our hotel or at least one in San Juan?

Yes they do have mounting block. You could get an Uber from San Juan but renting a car in PR becomes almost indispensable as our public transportation is very poor almost non - existent

I am 78 yrs. old and wish to take a horseback ride my concern is mounting the horse. Is there a mounting block available to mount/dismount from?
