Spodziewaliśmy się wejścia na wieżę, widoków, zrobienia kilku zdjęć i zejścia. Tymczasem wieżę zwiedza się z przewodnikiem, który nie tylko nas "pilnuje", ale bardzo ciekawie i z pasja opowiada o historii kościoła, wieży i Gliwic. Uwaga techniczna: ostatnie stopnie pokonuje się po stromych, drewnianych schodach, niemal drabinie. Wiem że to nie jest dla wszystkich, więc uprzedzam.

The tower is Gothic, but comes from early 16th century. The ending was different until after ww2. The great cross on top is a later addition, according to my mom the tin was offered by my great-grandpa. One can visit the tower sometimes, with a guide. One can not get to the highest level, with the cross, but, nevertheless, there's an amazing view of the entire city. One can see inside that the tower was repaired in the interbellum period, strenghtened with concrete, which was a surprise for me. One has to climb lot of stairs, so that's not for everyone.

na wieze wejsc mozna tylko w okreslone dni. Trzeba pokonac wiele scodow, mijajac po drode dwie sale w ktorych mozna zobaczyc pamiatki z budowy i renowacji kosciola. Widok z wiezy jest piekny zwlaszcza gdy wejdzie sie tuz przed zachodem slonca.
