Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent food tour experience. We appreciate your honest review, and we apologize for any discomfort you experienced during and after the tour. We strive to provide enjoyable and memorable experiences for all our customers, and we regret that we fell short of your expectations.
Firstly, we're glad to hear that you found the tour itself enjoyable and that Julia, our host, provided informative insights into the history of the places you visited. However, we sincerely apologize for the negative effects you and your boyfriend experienced due to the food. We understand how important it is for everyone to feel comfortable and safe during our tours, and we will address this issue with our food vendors and investigate it to make sure it never happens again.
Our goal is to select dishes and venues that not only showcase the best of Polish history and culture but also align with the narratives we share during the tour. That’s why the menu is designed in advance and we believe that our guests place their trust in our expertise and follow our lead throughout the experience. However, we understand that individual preferences and dietary requirements vary, which is why we include a section in the booking form where guests can specify any special requirements or dislikes they may have and it allows us to customize the menu accordingly.
As a food tour that aims to showcase Polish cuisine and culture, we prioritize including traditional and home-cooked dishes that hold cultural significance. The simple donut you mentioned is indeed a beloved treat in Polish culture, evoking nostalgic memories of childhood for many Poles. With this in mind, we intentionally included the donut as a dessert choice on the tour to offer our guests a taste of the cultural value and culinary heritage it represents. Little bakery is a local establishment known for freshly made donuts. We fully recognize and appreciate the bakery's significance as a traditional and beloved place among locals.
Regarding the pricing, we understand your concern. The cost of our tours is determined by various factors, including the quality of food, the expertise of our hosts, and operational expenses. However, we acknowledge that the overall experience did not match the value you expected.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the availability of water during the food tour. We understand that this is a controversial topic in Poland, as bottled water often tends to be more expensive than beer or vodka, which may seem surprising. We will discover the option of providing tap water on the tour wherever it’s possible.
Your feedback is invaluable to us as it helps us identify areas for improvement. We take your comments seriously, and we will use them to enhance our offerings and deliver better experiences to our future customers.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We appreciate your understanding.
Warm regards,
Kamila
