We had such a good time and were able to do a ton despite being disorganized and making our plans very late. The We Travel Rwanda team were extremely flexible, making what we wanted to do possible, and also helping us to have reasonable aspirations. We traveled to Musanze from Kigali, with great and informative conversation on the way in the car. We Travel Rwanda got us reservations in Volcanoes NP even though they appeared fully sold out online.
We climbed Mount Bisoke, a "high point" of our trip - exhausting, but so worth it to climb through agricultural fields, up the steep volcanic and sometimes hard mud trail to get up to the crater lake and collapse on the grass for those incredible views! And we hiked to an extended visit with the Agashya family of gorillas.
Our day on the Twin Lakes was also marvelous - boat ride, description of the sights on Lake Ruhondo; then a drive to Lake Burero and a short walk to a vantage point between the lakes where you can see both. Lovely.
We roamed around Musanze on our own and had an adventure with friendly young locals. On our way back to Kigali we saw and learned about traditional beehives and stopped to get some local honey. Another sweetness: Janvière's willingness to answer all of our questions about Rwanda's culture, history and present.
Our day trip to Akagera from Kigali was beautiful! It's a demanding day, and we were well managed and supported throughout. Janvière was knowledgeable and engaged... plus she has sharp eyes and spotted animals we had missed. It was a fantastic day and great way to end our travels with We Travel Rwanda.

I did two day trips from Kigali with Janvière from WeTravel Rwanda and both were just excellent. I went to both Mount Bisoke and to Nyungwe National Park. Janvière was very responsive and flexible regarding the booking and the payment procedures. She made it also possible that a friend of mine could join one of the trips spontaneously. The trips were very affordable in comparison to other tour operators and Janvière delivers excellent service. Even though our trip started very early in the morning, she could still tell us a lot about the sights on the way and explain everything we needed to know about the national park. She was also very nice to talk to so the long car rides were everything but boring. Moreover, she organised really great packed lunch for the one trip and a nice restaurant for the other, all included! During the trip to Nyungwe she was also so flexible that we could still go into the ethnographic museum on the way back.
If you are looking for affordable day trips from Kigali with excellent customer service and great flexibility and also any other kind of travel arrangements for Rwanda, I would definitely recommend booking with Janvière and WeTravel Rwanda!

It was a great experience with Janviere, We Travel. She was the best in providing the excellent service when to Akagera National Park or Kigali city tour. She tailored as needed honestly. We are impressed. I am still looking for more tours without hesitation.

Janvieré of “WE TRAVEL RWANDA” managed my trip to Muhazi Beach as well as an Excursion on Lake Kivu in Rwanda. I trusted her with my funds even before arriving in Rwanda. She arranged an excellent itinerary for us.
She is a very happy lady and very passionate about her work. She is time conscious as she arrived at my hotel for departure to Lake Kivu ten minutes before the expected travel time. The journey to Lake Kivu was filled with awesome conversations as she provided us with excellent knowledge of the local context.
She is multi-lingual as she is conversant in English, French and Kinyarwanda and this enabled us to we have good discussions as we travelled.
She also negotiated for us good prices for the food and drinks.
Surely, Janvirè went over and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my trip and stay in Rwanda.
Any day, any time, I would choose Janvieré as my trusted travel agent and I highly encourage you too!

I spent 6 days with Janvière as a guide and she always did her best. We visited Akagera NP as well as Nyungwe NP. Apart from that, she gave me a chance to meet local people, even to visit local village houses, to try how it is to work in a field. She knows a lot about nature and if she doesn’t, she finds it quickly. She is a good organizer. I am sure I will contact her if I ever come again to Rwanda.

Janviere is the best guide one could hope for. She knows her stuff, can adjust the programme to your needs and I really enjoyed the way she interacted with everyone we met along the way. Being respectful to the place you visit is very important, she carries that out in a way I haven't seen before. And it is just amazing how much she knows about her country, especially Musanze where she comes from.

At the beginning I tought to travel by my own, cause a budget thing , but at the end i decided to travel with Wetravel Rwanda , i tought that if i really want to know about the culture, ask for any question/ curiosity , feel more safe ... to travel with a local guide was the best option , no doubts .
