The so called ‘public’ toilets are visa/contactless access only which doesn’t work with Apple/Google pay.
Pretty useless and extremely inconvenient after 50 miles on a motorcycle.

This is a very popular place for day trips to visit anytime of the year. It is particularly a favourite of motorbike enthusiasts who arrive in groups to chat and chill out every Sunday.
It’s a short walk from the town and is popular with dog walkers as there is a lot of open spaces along the River Lune
There are information boards where you can scan a QR code which will link you to a mythical talk about the bridge.
This is worth the visit particularly in good weather.

Great place to visit. Parking, snack van, seating, walking and a river to enjoy. A stroll along the river can take you into the town for coffee, eats etc. Also the story of the bridge is fascinating...the notice boards around are a must to read!

Busy beauty spot, a favourite with wild swimmers. Very old bridge with a good devil story to back it up. Very picturesque and lots of parking

Stayed here in Kirkby Lonsdale for a few days and had a very pleasant stroll down to the bridge and back up. Very pretty views. Love the sound of the running water. So peaceful. Lots of fields nearby if you wanted to picnic. Walk back up to the town was a bit steep but worth it! Lady artist 👨🎨 painting a picture at the top.

Visited Kirkby Lonsdale for few days over the weekend and I have never seen the bridge area so busy. It is notorious for motor bikers to assemble at the bridge and on the Sunday morning there must have been a thousand people enjoying the glorious summer weather. The park was also ‘rammed’ with picnickers. On the Monday it was possible to walk over the bridge and down by the river. Our dogs enjoyed a quick dip!

I would say that they are not allowed at all, but do check with the council on their policies on the matter.

Sorry patrick, I can't answer your question for sure. There is a parking area at the bridge but it's on a busy road so probably not. There is also a lane directly opposite the bridge where folk park that leads to a caravan park. If you Google caravan parks near devil's bridge it might bring up the name. Sorry I can't be of more help.
