VERY nice glass museum with interesting docent lead tours through the rooms. Also includes short videos and explanation of the glass factory and the process of production.

It was very interesting tour which started with a movie about the company and how the glass was made. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend highly.

The ladies giving the tours were friendly, informative & answered all our questions. Video to start tour was old but amazing actual footage from 1950s. I had no idea there was so many different styles, designs & colors. AAA Discount. Definitely worth the $5 fee.

Very interesting place to visit. As others mention, there is a brief film to watch in the beginning that showed the glass making process when the factory was operational. The tour guides are all local volunteers and did and excellent job explaining all the different displays they had to look at and were able to answer every question we had. The gift shop in the front is mostly items donated to them from people’s personal collections to help fund the museum. We were shown many other pieces that they had for sale in their “overflow areas” and ended up buying numerous items to bring home. Returned a second time 2 days later to buy another item that we didn’t purchase the first time and the woman working recognized us instantly and took my name and number in case anything was donated in a color that someone in our group was looking for! Great great people working here. Will definitely make a trip back down again to see what new things they’ve acquired to add to my new collection.

When I planned this trip, I figured the glass museum would be a quick stop. I was so wrong! Anna, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and informative as she walked us through the museum and all of its history. I have to admit that I soon became very interested in the process of the glass making. It is heart breaking that they are no longer in business and the factory has been torn down. I was even able to buy a piece of history, an ornament made from their stemware. If you are in the area, it’s absolutely worth a visit!

Two ladys made the tour VERY interesting. They have studied the history of glass making, and know the subject. I highly recommend stopping when in the area.

This is a relatively small museum, but big on beauty! My husband and I spent close to two hours here. Near the entrance of the museum is a short video about Cambridge glass. The best part of this museum is getting a private tour guide that takes you to the beautiful display cases and talks briefly about the various patterns of cambridge glass. After your tour you can spend as much time as you want going back to the various displays and admire the beautiful glassware and take as many pictures as you want. There is a small gift shop selling cambridge glass at reasonable prices. I highly recommend anyone passing through this area of Ohio to take a brief stop to visit this pretty and historic museum. Admission is only $6 for adults and $5 for seniors and AAA members.

I love glass pieces and this museum did not disappoint. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I learned so much and now can’t wait to get home and see how much Cambridge glass I have!

This glass museum does a wonderful job of integrating activities for all ages. Although it is a self-guided tour of the cases, the intrepretor does a wonderful job guiding multiple groups around and answering questions.
To begin you watch a brief movie introducing you to the history of the museum. The intrepretor answers questions, tells you a little more and shows examples, then she sends you to the displays. You can dress as a glass maker and do a rubbing of the plates to take with you.
There are shop areas where you can purchase pieces to support the museum.
Our intrepretor recommended we take a factory tour less than 10 minutes drive away to see the process in action.

They are closed until April 1. Best to call first, since the info I found on the internet indicated they were open.
