Beautiful winery, but unfortunately the staff were not very personable or helpful. It was confusing on what to do as we were first time guests. We came for wine tasting and they were unprepared and didn't discuss anything. We left unimpressed by the wines.

We have visited Laurentia many times and enjoyed their wines and food, but we had a poor experience today. The staff was not prepared and simply refused to take food orders because they were overwhelmed. The kitchen shut down for an hour just because they needed to catch up on orders. When trying to talk with the staff, they did not seem sympathetic. Today, Laurentia did not stand up to the smaller wineries in the region that offered a more personalized experience.

My friend and I stopped here as a stop out of eight wineries and to be honest, we were underwhelmed. The tasting process was confusing because we weren’t served at the large bar, but rather, by the cash register. We sampled our white wines and ended up not buying anything. The building was beautiful and it looked like a lot of people were enjoying their food, but the wine was not for our palettes!

This is a beautiful winery in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the wine, since they do not have any sweet wine. The young lady at the bar was not overly friendly; in fact, we felt as if we were being “looked down on” for even asking for sweet wine. We did order food; which was good. At this location, you order your food at the bar, then it is brought to your table. We sat out on the beautiful patio. The young gentlemen who brought our food to us were very friendly. Unfortunately, other than that, the rest of the staff pretty much ignored us. This was our first time at this winery and we were very unsure of what to do and where to go…but employees passed us by when we were obviously confused as to what to do. This was a Tuesday evening and the winery was not really busy. We had the pepperoni flatbread, which was tasty. We also had the angel food cake with the lemon pastry cream, which we all agreed was perhaps one of the best desserts we have ever eaten. I am giving this place a 4 star rating, because of the excellent food and the beautiful location. However, we will not return since we felt we were not particularly welcome on our visit.

Food was absolutely delicious, making Laurentia's worth the trip. We ate the Duck Sausage, the Fig&Brie Flatbread (gf) and the Monterrey Shrimp. All were excellent. The property was exquisite and the reason we're giving them a 3/5 is bc the wait staff was not personable at all, which is one of the things we have most appreciated about wineries... the personal interactions.

This is a gorgeous winery at the west end of the Grand River Valley wine area. It was our second visit - the first time they were not offering tastings due to COVID so we were excited to have the opportunity to try their wines. This winery is one of those that lets you select wines to taste but sends you on your own to a table without a wine sommelier with whom to discuss the wines. That would be the only negative to our experience. We tried eight different wines and they were all of good quality. Our favorites were the Chardonnay and the Gewurztraminer. We ordered appetizers to accompany the wine and they were both excellent. The baked Brie was outstanding. This is a first class winery and, with the addition of a more customer-friendly approach, would be equal to the best in the area.

Both wine and food are phenomenal here, but we always plan to eat here when in town visiting the wineries. This time, for my wife's bday and valentine's, was no exception. They had a three-course $33 deal that was worth twice that. Especially when paired with the wonderful service and suggestions we always receive here. Don't miss!

Visited here last weekend. The building here is simply awesome, However, the knowing we wanted a tasting, we were pointed to a register to order and pay, then assigned a table. That all seemed COLD and non-accomodating. Later we ventured downstairs to find out that they have a tasting room and cellar. Why didn't anyone say that was an option when we came in? I felt slighted. Did not feel welcome here. Lastly-- seems odd that they only had 2 red wines to taste. They seemed to have a dozen whites.

I have visited this winery and eaten there periodically since they opened. I went there recently with a friend I hadn't seen in a couple of years. When we were paying for our food (which you must do when you order it), the cashier complained about the flies as she swatted one off her neck. Then, when our food arrived, a fly crawled slowly out from under the topping on my flatbread. It didn't just land on my food, it was in it. I did not say anything because I did not want to spoil the time with my friend. But I emailed the winery right after I got home, and again a week after that. No response. I believe the kitchen has a fly problem that needs to be addressed. And the winery staff apparently doesn't care about their customers' experience. I'm sad - because I always liked this place - but I'm not going back.

We really enjoyed a pre-anniversary late lunch outside on a beautiful fall day! The food was delicious and wonderfully presented - very artistic! Of course, the wine was wonderful too! Special thank you to Lilla who helped us with the wine and our order and to Madie who delivered our food and was very efficient and helpful!

Are children allowed to visit the winery? We are hoping to sit on the patio and enjoy pizza and a glass of wine this week.

We didn’t see any there when we were there but there weren’t any signs stating No children allowed.
The outdoor patio would lend nicely for children to be present and enjoy the pond with the ducks and geese

At Laurentia it is $2 or $3 a taste. That is a little more than other places but they give you a lot. I've been there twice and both times I toured the grounds carrying around just a taste portion of the wine.
