Easy in, easy out, right off the Hwy. 4 of us checked out this cheese store on our way to Viroqua. They had a good 4-5 samples to try. Everything is very clean and displayed well. I liked that they had several kinds of organic cheeses along with goat cheeses. Their meats are locally produced. I really liked the colby-jack goat cheese, and was happy to be able to try it, before I buy it.

This is the first creamery I have ever been in that did not have samples of cheese for sampling readily available. When we asked, we were given one cheese to sample and only one. This was unreal to us. There are dozens of creameries in the region who gladly give samples. How can you buy cheese without tasting? This was our first and last time to visit Pasture Pride. We purchased about 30 pounds of cheese for our neighbors while visiting the area so we know what we are talking about.

Pasture Pride has the freshest cheese, the squeakiest curds, the best prices, and the most amazing customer service of any cheese factory I've ever visited...and I'm a Cheesehead who stops at EVERY cheese factory I pass. They use milk from neighboring Amish farmers and craft goat and cow cheese into Muenster (YUM), cheddars, mozzarella, even hard cheeses like parmesan ad Romano. And you will not beat their prices. I took a group of 20 there this past week. EVERYONE walked out with bags and bags of treats for their families and friends. You have to ask for manager Morgan to give you a quick overview of their operation. AMAZING STOP in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin.

Fun place to visit for adults and kids. You can watch cheese being cut and packaged. Samples are available and tasty. Lots of delicious choices to take home and for gifts. Also available are brats, bologna ring and other items too many to name. Nice view too.

The staff here is very friendly and the cheese is amazing. Went on a Friday and they had fresh made muenster curds available - one of the bags didn't even last us 5 miles before it got devoured lol. The trim ends are a superb deal - they were $1/lb when we went - fyi, trim ends are the pieces left over when they cut the square blocks of cheese - they taste the same just not quite as pretty, look for them in the cooler in the back. The store is a nice large space where you can freely move around and browse comfortably. They even have a viewing window into the production line. Bonus that they are located in Amish country and there's a good chance you'll see a horse and buggy on the road.

One of the best places in Wisconsin to get cheese. Their Muenster cheese is excellent. And the cheese curds. Words cannot describe the flavor of fresh curds!! The varieties of cheese are exceptional. They have their own cheeses as well as cheeses from around the state. The prices are quite reasonable as well. They carry local made fudge and Amish made candy. If you're in Cashton this is a must see!

A nice cheese shop with a good variety of cheese. Plenty of free samples so you know what you are getting into. They also serve ice cream and root beer floats. A great stop if you are traveling through the area.

Like a lot of other cheese shops, Pasture Pride has its share of cheeses, other treats, and novelties. Prices are respectable, and selection is OK. Although Cashton has a high Amish population, the Amish products sold are not local, but from Illinois or Ohio. Still, the cheeses are mostly local, and that's what it is - a cheese shop. Worth the stop - check it out.

If you are a lover of cheese like I am this is the place to go. A huge variety of different cheeses. Goat, cow and sheep. Some interesting flavours too eg. Chicken soup flavour or cheese with crushed bacon bits. We eventually purchased 12 different cheeses and a few jams produced my the local Amish. The lady was very helpful and friendly, we were able to sample a few cheeses and ended up buying extra due to her recommendations. Would certainly recommended a visit to this place. We also visited a couple more cheese shops in the area and this was the best by far.

Great selection of local artisanal cheeses. Try the goat cheddar, it is incredible. Also a great spot to stop for an ice cream.
