I planned this trip with high hopes of taking my wife sowewhere with great wildlife and scenery. It was for her 50th birthday and I wanted it to be a trip she would always remember. Having been to the Jackson Hole 3 times I wasn't sure what a guided tour would add but after doing research Scott was highly recommended so I scheduled a day trip. The day was AMAZING!!!! Yes we did see alot of wildlife (moose, elk, bison, eagles, big horn sheep, and fox) but Scott gave us so much information about Jackson Hole, the Tetons, and surrounding areas that we enjoyed seeing the sights and learning about them as much as we enjoyed the animals! Scott is so easy to talk with, polite and looks for ways to make your day as good as possible. Early on in the trip he found out that my wife and I like exploring back roads. The next thing I knew he was giving us information on places to explore on our own in the future. Lunch was a part of the trip and he took us to Dornan's which was wonderful. He got us there early so he could get a special table. Dornan's sits at the foot of the Teton's and so we ate lunch at a great picture window filled with the Tetons! At the end of the day all we could do is smile and thank Scott for making the day so memorable. I usually don't write reviews but Scott deserves it and my wife and I hope that you have as great a time as we did!!

Today was hands down one of the best days in recent memory.
Scott, my guide and owner of Wild Wyoming, is one of the kindest, friendliest, and most sincere people I’ve ever met, and I can’t imagine today with any other guide. It felt like being shown around by an old friend who just couldn’t wait but to share all the exciting knowledge he has about this place. Sometimes guides talk at you or they’re using a script, and you end up feeling like you’re a student in a classroom. By contrast, Scott made our tour feel like an adventure, where around every bend we were discovering this place together. I was floored by how much he knew. He shared facts and told stories about just about everything, including but not limited to: biology, geology, Indigenous history, settler history, architecture, the town culture & economy, animals, plants, photography, and snow sports. Only once did he not have an answer to my question, and he said “I’m going to go home and look that up, because now I’m curious and I want to know the answer for future tours.”
He has coffee, hot apple cider, tea, and muffins in the van (definitely try the cider), and we also stopped at a market before heading out and he let me pick out a breakfast burrito and coffee and paid for it himself.
He never once rushed me or made me feel bad for wanting to stop, take pictures, step outside and bask in the breathtaking views, sit quietly for a few minutes in appreciation. We were able to see elk, bighorn sheep, coyotes, moose, bison, and trumpet swans, and the binoculars made it that much more amazing.
We also covered a ton of ground geographically, and were able to take in the Tetons and a handful of other mountains, ranges, and buttes. I could tell that as time went on he was able to feel out my interests and steer us toward more of that. For one thing, I didn’t realize how much I was enjoying the tall powdered pine trees, but he tuned in and drove me through the most stunning pine forest off the traditional tour path.
Finally, he gauged what my plans were for the rest of my trip (not much), and not only recommended places to eat and drive myself to get more of the views, but he took me there myself. By the end of the trip I had a handful of places marked on my phone’s map that he encouraged me to visit on my own. It’s obvious Scott’s in love with this place and what he does.
I can’t imagine a better way to spend the morning of Christmas Eve. If you have any doubts about this tour or this company, let this be your sign. Book it—it’s worth every penny.

We booked a private full day tour of Yellowstone with Scott.
After a pretty exhaustive search we decided to book with WWT.
Scott exceeded our expectations. His knowledge of the entire area and National Parks is from a perspective of a life long resident. He grew up going to these parks and hiking, skiing and exploring the entire area.
He is kind, caring, patient and accommodating, very informative.
The day we spent was so informative, interesting and full of stories, history and personal experiences.
The day literally flew by, don’t be put off by the hours, it’s worth every minute and every penny.
My only regret, if only I had known, was not booking a multi day tour. It was that great.
Don’t look any further, he’s your guide.
Hope to see you again Scott.

Scott was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. The vehicle was comfortable and we enjoyed having a private trip with just our party. Overall a great experience.

Jim was incredibly knowledgeable, his 30+ years of experience in the area definitely shows! We saw all of the usual highlights of the park plus less frequented areas from Jim’s personal knowledge that were serene and beautiful. I would highly recommend this full day private tour!

scott is a wonderful tour guide. he took us to everything we wanted to see (and more) and we learned an incredible amount in the process. in addition - he is extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for hikes and activities based on our interests. this is a driving tour with multiple scenic stops and minimal walking/hiking - so if this is what you are looking for i highly recommend scott!

We (husband, 2 college age sons and I) had the pleasure of touring the Grand Tetons with Scott. Early morning. Private Tour. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to find the wildlife we were seeking — bison, moose, bear and antelope. He’s a local and we all enjoyed hearing his experience growing up in an area much different than anything we could imagine. He never tired of our extensive and continuous questions. If you are fortunate enough to book with him you will not be disappointed. A great guide and a great guy. And do ask him about his photography!

We had a great time on a day tour of Yellowstone south loop. Scott picked us up in Jackson Hole and we spent the day visiting all of the sites of the south loop in Yellowstone. He was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information about both Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. He also made some great recommendations for other things to do on our trip. I was a bit worried about the long day as we had our 6 and 12 year old sons with us but they did great and enjoyed it and Scott was very patient and accommodating with the boys. It was the highlight of everyone’s trip!

We had a wonderful late afternoon tour with Scott in the Grand Tetons the last week of May 2022. We drove through the Park the day prior in sunny weather and saw the mountains in all their glory. The day of our tour there was light snow falling and we saw an even more enchanted Park. We saw many animals on the late tour. Scott was wonderful, very knowledgeable, would highly recommend him.

We had the best morning with Scott as our guide in the Grand Teton's. He picked us up at our Inn, and even had muffins, fruit, coffee and waters. He knows a lot about the area and is happy to share his knowledge with his customers. He went at our pace and explained where we might see wildlife. He is also an avid photographer and gave us tips where to take the best photos!
This is definitely the best way to go! Highly recommend Scott and his private tour.
