We had a fantastic experience! Our guide Amethyst took us on a local hiking trail that was awesome. She was very friendly, energetic & knowledgeable. We definitely recommend both her & this tour!

My husband and I had a great experience with Belinda. She was extremely knowledgeable of the land, which was so cool to learn about and she took us on a hike in a less crowded area which really allowed us to take it all in. Would highly recommend!

Beverly was a very dedicated and friendly person. She was highly professional and very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and geography. We really enjoyed the tour. Thanks again Beverly

On a whim, we decided to have a guide take us on our first day of hiking in Jackson, WY.
We were fortunate to find The Hole Hiking Experience and have Rose as our Guide.
While we hike often, we hadn't hiked in WY and there were many trails to choose from.
Rose was assume and extremely knowledgeable, pointing out hundreds of facts about the 4 mile hike we took. Rose knows the trails, trees, animals, flowers, etc., which made for an enjoyable hike.
If you choose The Hole Hiking Experience, ask for Rose, even though I'm sure all of the Guides are great, but with Rose, I can assure you won't be disappointed.

I traveled to the area to spend my birthday trip exploring the Grand Tetons for the first time. My daughter presented me with a guided high on my birthday as a gift; and what a gift it was. Rose was my guide for the day and could not have been more perfect. Her knowledge of the plants, landscape and history of the area were impressive. The hikes she chose for us was Ski Lake and beyond and it exceeded my expectations. Although we didn't see any wildlife, we encountered many wildflowers on our journey. She took the time to educate me on the wildflowers as well as other native plants. from beginning to end, the experience was well worth it.
If you're in the area, and looking for hiking and wilderness expertise, put the Hole Hiking Experience at the top of your list point!

We loved the "Hole Hiking Experience" with Belinda. She picked us up at our hotel, and we spent the day with a true naturalist guide. We hiked near Granite Creek, with its beaver ponds, cascading water, mountain views, and natural hot springs. We went to the Granite Hot Springs Pool, relaxed for about an hour in the therapeutic pool, and rejuvenated after our 3-mile hike. We had a little lunch by the hot springs, complete with a tablecloth and cloth napkins. An Amazing day full of great memories for this Texas family.

Our guide Ella was one of the highlights of our trip to Jackson hole. Educational friendly and knew how to make sure we got to do all of the things we wanted to do at the park.

Our wildlife driving tours in Grand Teton National Park are a wonderful way to experience this amazing area. We hope you'll join us on your next trip to Jackson Hole.

We had the best backcountry hike with Ella! She was great, engaging and so knowledgable. She encouraged us along the way. We saw the most beautiful steam, meadows and a winding forest on our way up the mountain. We loved every second of our hike with Ella and Hole Hiking. We will definitely book them again when we return to Jackson.

As a family of 6 from Michigan, with the youngest hiker biing 5 years, Bridger-Teton National Forest to Phillip's Pass was our goal on 1st of July. Ela was our tour guide. She is a very enthusiastic, encouraging, and friendly guide. She is very knowledgeable about the nature and history of the region in which we were hiking. She took good care of us with snacks and water. We felt safe and taken care of at any time during our hike. Last but not least, it was a lot of fun to hike with her.

We went for a full day hike with Beverly, and the experience was top notch from start to finish. She picked us up at The Rusty Parrot Lodge, we discussed hiking possibilities, and selected a 9-mile, 2000 foot elevation to summit hike on Munger Mountain. It was tough for me (mid-50s and in moderately good shape) and easier for my 24 year old. Beverly was amazing about taking breaks along the way and explaining the flowers and trees. She made the experience even better. We highly recommend this outfitter! Summiting the mountain was an amazing experience!

What a great way to spend a day in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem! Thank you for choosing us to be part of your vacation. It's great to hear that Beverly was able to cater to both you and your daughter in a positive way.

W have a 1/2 day snowshoeing trip (as part of a 4-day stay in the area) but I have just been told by my podiatrist that he doesn't recommend that I go snowshoeing because of a problem with my foot. My husband will still do it so any recommendations on what I might do for the afternoon? Got a full day snowmobile trip one day and dog sledding the next - the snowshoeing is on our last day there.

If you are looking for something to do outside I would suggest taking the tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. It has amazing views! You can get there by taking the public bus (I believe it's $3) At the top there is a little cabin that sells wonderful Waffles! You HAVE to try them. If you want to stay in town the downtown area has several wonderful art stores and coffee shops. Hope that helps!
