The views were absolutely breathtaking! Best sunset on the island! Everyone is seated at large tables. So you get to talk to people at your table. You are free to move around as much as you want. Local crafts and jewelry were on sale. We purchased a wooden carved turtle with personalized chiseled message. The food was served buffet style. I am vegan and was pleasantly surprised that you are asked about food preferences and allergies at the time of your booking. It was very nice to have special attention. Only the salad bar at the buffet had vegan options, all clearly marked. I received a special hot food plate with some rice & wok fried vegies and tofu. It tasted pretty good. Also received a special desert (non-dairy whipped cream with strawberry slices and blueberries). The show started after the food was done and plates were cleared from the tables. It has dancers, performers, singers, and the best part was the fire show at the end! I really enjoyed the entire experience!

Lovely location for the luau on the grassy lawn of the lovely Sheraton hotel. The location was beautiful right by the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The show was fun, a lot of skilled hula dancing and the fire twirling was so impressive.
The food was amazing and delicious! They had the buffet line process well organized and all guest were fed rather quickly. Only negative is in the beginning you are sitting in full sun for about an hour and it is hot! As the sun goes down the atmosphere cools off and is very pleasant. So take a hand fan, sunglasses and a hat for the hot sun at the beginning. Most guests were dressed in nicer clothes and many in Hawaiian themed dresses and shirts.

I went to the Maui Nui luau during my first visit to Maui in September and I had the best time! There was a lot of people there-I think every table was full- but it was very well organized. We paid for preferred seating and I think it was worth it-we got to sit first and eat ahead of everyone else. The food was really delicious and they had a good variery- my faves were the steak and the mac salad. And the show was *amazing*- they had Hawaiian music before the main show, hula dancers, Hawaiian dancing and rituals, fire performers. I was entertained the entire night. Note: You are out in the hot sun, so prepare accordingly. I highly recommend this luau and I think it was worth every penny!

Has to be the best luau on the island! All performers were incredible! Good food and plentiful drinks. Be sure to spend a little extra on "preferred seating" - it's worth it. Yes, it may be warm at the beginning of the show, and the sun may be on you, but about the time everyone is eating it's perfect. You will learn some about Hawaiian culture, which I think is pretty cool!

It was sooooooooo amazing unlimited bar preferred seating is a must if you can !!! The buffet was phenomenal !!! Got to get 2nds & 3rds !!! Service was great staff was amazing!!! Performances was definitely worth the front seat action!!! Definitely worth the money!!!

The food at the buffet was amazing and a lot of options to pick from. They had 3 dessert options to pick from, the was good and a open bar for drinks. The show itself was very entertaining and fun to watch.

It was our second time doing the luau at Sheraton Maui Nui, and they don't disappoint. Everything were great.The food were excellent.

Our family really enjoyed the Luau. The food was good, the show was really good and the service was great. A few notes:
1. As you arrive, there will be two lines, one for preferred and one for standard. In hindsight, I’m not sure why you would arrive too early. As I understand it, You are assigned a table based on when you signed up. We were there 20 minutes beforehand and there was quite a line. We stood in the standard line, but my wife booked preferred seats (and did not know it.) We ended up assigned to table 7. (There were 10 or so per table and at least 50+tables.). I guess one reason to get there early is to pick your seats at the table if you end up sharing the 10-top. Not a big deal.
2. * big bonus* My wife is gluten free and my daughter has nut and egg allergies. They were awesome with the allergies. The food is labeled. They also provide a (so-so) separate gluten free meal and deserts for both of them. Their deserts were quite good.
*the food was buffet style and was pretty good. A lot of variety. Thumbs up from both myself and the two teenage boys.
3. The show was very entertaining. Our seat mates had attended my luaus over the years and they thought this was a strong show.
4. Overall, the entire meal and show were three hours in length.

Amazing experience! Great food and a very entertaining show. My only feedback is about the wait. The ticket said 5pm. We got there at 4:55 and were near the front of the line. We waited in line until almost 6 before they let us in…in the sun w/ no shade. We would have arrived at 6 if we knew we were going to stand around with hungry kids for an hour.

Truly enjoyed our experience! We splurged for the upgraded tickets and it was worth it for the view. Food was great. We were very satisfied with our experience.

$5 valet I was told when I called; but they did not ask for money when I arrived, so it's free for me.
It's a big resort, we had problem finding our way back to the front entrance; but if you use the public parking garage, just follow the crowd after the event.

Yes flowers and handmade. The tables are round and I think they sit 10 per table. The tables are in rows. We were on the front and have to pay premium pricing. Great event. Also get the cliff diving.

Hi there, we're planning to visit Maui in July 2016, and would like to attend a luau, as we are staying in another resort and therefore would have to drive is there discounted parking available to us?

I believe parking for the luau is $5 only when booking the luau call them and they will tell you that and I believe you bring your parking ticket in to get stamped for the cheaper rate
