Etwas außerhalb in der Nähe zum Highway ist dieses neu renovierte GreenTree Inn. Sehr saubere, neue Zimmer und ein tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wer hier in der Gegend gerne übernachten möchte. Frühstück ist ebenfalls inkludiert.

We picked GreenTree Inn because we had stayed at another one in Flagstaff (pre-Covid) and found the accommodations clean and prices very reasonable. We arrived later in the afternoon and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel lobby wasn’t much, but if you needed some some supplies, they were available. The ice machine worked great and pumped out lots of ice - a huge plus when it’s about 100°!! Our room was clean and the A/C, although a bit loud when on, worked fabulously! Seriously…I wish the A/C at our house worked as well. Our only complaint, and we never notified staff…was that there were about 10 flies in our room. Now, in all fairness, they probably come in while housekeeping is cleaning the room and has the door open. All the rooms open to the outdoors. We made the first move and killed about 4 of their friends in a show of dominance. This worked. We knew they were hiding behind the curtains and agreed if they retreat, we will leave them alone. This worked until the morning. They must have rallied their troops and were ready for a fight. Well, we had the last laugh, we checked out in the morning. Again, I cannot fault staff for not doing anything because we never told them. We slept well, the water pressure was good, linens were clean, tv worked, A/C was outstanding, fridge worked, all lights worked, everything was clean……

I called to request an early check-in as I was traveling with my elderly mother. I was told that the earliest check in was 3:30. The nice clerk (Caroline) on the phone said she would leave a note for the afternoon shift. We arrived at 2:30 (due to changing time zones). My mother was very tired. I went to the office and asked to check in early. The clerk was extremely unfriendly and unwilling to help us. She said that housekeeping did not have any rooms ready with 2 beds. I asked her if she would call me on my cell phone as soon as a room was ready. My mother and I waited in the car patiently. After 1 hour 45 minutes (it is now 4:15) I went back in and said "hello, I'd like to check in". I didn't complain or ask why she hadn't called. She checked me in, handed me a receipt and never gave directions to the room or offered an apology. I told her that I had read good reviews of the hotel and she said "we hear that". I made my way around the property, and found the room. We went in, found a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door... I spilled a cup of water and when I wiped it up off the floor, the towel was filthy (had the floors even been mopped?). I then battled no less than 20 flies (killing most of them with the dirty bathroom towel.) We had ONE washcloth and only 2 bath towels. (I wasn't about to ask for more). The pillowcases had black stains on them (likely someone's mascara which did not come out in the wash). I will say the bed was comfortable, although at this point I had no idea if it was clean. When we checked out the next morning, Caroline was at the front desk. She greeted us with a smile and was quite perplexed why the afternoon clerk would not try to accommodate us. I would NOT recommend this hotel.…

I am an avid rockhound and after sucking dust for 8-10 hrs, I usually just need a bed and a shower and to check emails and book another night in another town. I have stayed at this chain before and enjoyed my visits. This location offered a clean, well-appointed room, had a comfy bed and a great shower. Used the frig and microwave, too. Lots of hotels in Holbrook to choose from, but I would use this spot again. And had a great price for the quality of the hotel.

Clean, modern rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent price. Would stay here again. Great location just off the interstate. Hot showers. Direct TV. Fridge and coffee in room. Comfy beds. Updated interior. Convenient parking.
