מקום שליו ומקסים המיקום אידיאלי בעין כרם . תענוג בקיץ הישראלי לשבת בגנים היפים להנות משלוות המקום ומרוח הררית קרירה ונעימה . החדרים צנועים ופשוטים (ללא טלויזיה) אך מספקים לשהיה קצרה . ארוחת הבקר בסיסית מאד . סה"כ מקום מדהים למי שמחפש שלווה ובמחיר מאד סביר.

מנזר עושה לנו הישראלים קונוטציה לא הכי הכי. לאחדים, לינה במנזר כבר מעוררת מחשבות נוסח "שם הורד". הלו, תרגעו! מדובר במנזר קסום ובו גינה יפהפה ותצפית לנופה של נחלת יהודה, האווירה בפנים אינה מנזרית, לא תמצאו פסלים ובקושי צלבים, אפילו לא בחדר התפילה. בית ההארחה עצמו פשוט, נעים, משרה שלווה, נהדר להזמנות קבוצתיות של סמנריונים וסדנאות כמו גם ליחידים. תתקלו שם בסדנאות יוגה, סדנאות שתיקה, סדנאות צום מיצים ( שבסופו המשתתפים באים לבוטיק הריבות הסמוך (ברחוב דרך האחיות 14) ועושים השלמת סוכר .. ליחידים המקום נעים, מבקרים שם אנשים מכל הארץ ותופסים ראש בתצפית. מנזר אבל אחר לגמרי, חווית לינה וארוחת הוקר טובה מאוד. מומלץ.

Me gustó tanto que vuelvo a insistir. Me extraña que no esté en ruta. Nos llevó un amigo en la tarde libre de la peregrinación y me encantó. Y lo que hacen con la unión del judaísmo, también. Sales de las aglomeraciones de jerusalén y los lugares santos

Another world. While touring around Ein Kerem a must-see is this wonderful little walled garden. Won't go into the politics of religion, but the sisters and their staff are all very welcoming. Have friends who have stayed in the guest house and loved it. The church is small and starkly beautiful. Closed Sundays and holidays. Open 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:30.

I visited the place during a walk in Ein Keren. I walked thru the extensive gardens, visited the small and tasteful cemetary, and the church. I noted in the gardens two large basins for water, and the magnificent view. It was well worth the two shekel "donation' I was required to pay.
