We got the last room in town after the red roof/hotels.com booked us for a room that they were sold out of (neither admitted fault). We called and drove around and finally found the Rio. They had one room available (room 7). It is a old hotel and smelt really old. Anyone who's been in an antique store will know what I mean but the sheets looked clean so we decided to stay. By this time it was around 2am and our only other option was to sleep in the car. The t.v. Was around 13in, The bed sunk in in the middle, the air conditioner was a little loud and there was a bug on the wall. We slept with the light on in case there were any more bugs hopeful that would keep them away. We thankfully didn't see any more. The shower was clean and and worked well. Not worth the $100 we paid but our only option. It was Memorial Day weekend and all the other 100 something hotels were All booked. There was also a patch taped to the wall and a cut in the other wall. A microwave, mini fridge and desk were in the room. …
This is the cheapest hotel room you'll find, and yes, cheap means cheap. The WiFi is free but could hardly receive it in my room. The bathroom is clean but looks outright shoddy. This place can use a renovation. Tv, ac and fridge are from the 80s. Next time, I'll probably pay a bit more and go somewhere else. I'm less than satisfied :\
