with regards to your review about our service at Il Salviatino, first of all thank you very much for your comments. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each and every stay making the experience at the Salviatino an extraordinary memory. We are deeply sorry to read about the negative experience during your stay this week.
Please let let me give you feedback on the single issues pointed out by you:
front office /reception:
reserving a warm welcome to our guests is extremely important for us considering that Il Salviatino is a small boutique hotel and our guests become somehow part of our family. Unfortunately, on your day of arrival no other room was available to show you as an alternative accommodation to the room assigned to you. By the way, the room you were staying at, is very comfortable for clients with pets due to its room size.
room service:
we are very sorry that you were not satisfied about the eggs that we served you; salt, pepper and butter is always delivered together with the different dishes our clients are asking for, be sure about that.
Restaurant:
coming to our restaurant La Terrazza, again, we feel deeply sorry, that we did not satisfy your expectations even though we have just launched our new “à la carte” menù for the current Summer Season, an expression of 100% Tuscan/Italian traditional dishes offering some new and international flavours. A direct feedback to our staff just during your dinner would have given us a chance to understand better what you did not appreciate and/or get you an alternative plate to taste. That’s a real pity.
Pool:
Il salviatino is an urban resort and we are happy to welcome families. That means we are not an “adults only” property and during summer time there might be some children enjoying our beautiful pool area. The lifeguards do sometimes support the pool bar staff if requested. Nothing bad about team work I would say.
Housekeeping:
thank you for your positive note about our housekeeping staff, the real heart of Il Salviatino. Our team does really take care of making our guests feel comfortable, without disturbing their privacy; in fact, on the second day of your stay, you put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door and we did not any TURN DOWN service respecting your choice asking only for mineral water to be delivered.
Once again, we are really very sorry that you did not enjoy in total your stay at our property. Nevertheless, we hope to welcoming you back at Il Salviatino in the near future in order to show you our standard of excellence.
