Thank you for taking the time to post your review of Mount Meru Game Lodge & Sanctuary. We value all feedback, positive and negative, and continually aspire to meet our guests expectations. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience at our reception desk. It would be helpful to understand exactly what the problem was that you encountered? We can only surmise that there might have been a misunderstanding in terms of communication as our receptionists are Swahili speaking and do not understand French. January and February are indeed the warmest months of the year in Arusha, and the height of the mosquito season throughout the country. All our rooms are equipped with premium quality mosquito nets and insect repellant. Being at altitude, we're actually better off than if we were at the coast, where the heat and mosquitos in January can be unbearable. When it comes to rates, our establishment is advertised as mid range. Most hotels in this category would be without air conditioning. As for our pool, this is the first time it has been described as small. At 4x6m we feel it is more than adequate for both adults and children to enjoy. We are pleased that your breakfast was enjoyable. Our menu offers a selection of hearty portions of well-known dishes that most of our guests enjoy. We will continue to look at how this can be improved upon. We sincerely hope that you enjoyed your travels in Tanzania and hope you will return. With best wishes from the Mount Meru Game Lodge & Sanctuary team.
